Depending upon your preferences, this next story will either do nothing for you or send chills down your spine. Warner Bros. has been kicking around with the idea of turning the 80s TV show THE DUKES OF HAZZARD into a feature film, in the vein of CHARLIE'S ANGELS or the now-filming STARSKY & HUTCH. According to The Hollywood Reporter, THAT 70s SHOW Ashton Kutcher and 2 FAST 2 FURIOUS's Paul Walker want to play the big-screen versions of Luke and Bo Duke. Also into starring in the movie is comedian Anthony Anderson as Boss Hogg, Hazzard County's richest and craftiest resident. And if the rumors are true, pop singer Britney Spears could be trying on a pair of denim shorts as Daisy Duke.If this gets off the ground with this cast, I can't see anyone buying Kutcher as Batman

Britney Spears is set to star in a new movie. The 'Womanizer' singer - who is currently performing her 'Circus' world tour - is in talks to star in 'The Yellow Star of Sophia and Eton', which is set during World War II. The National Ledger website reports: "If she accepts the role, Britney will reportedly play the main role of Sophia LaMont, who creates a time machine and travels back to World War II where she meets a Jewish man called Eton at a concentration camp." In the film, the couple fall passionately in love and decide to try to return to Sophia's time in order to marry. The film is set to start shooting when Britney, 27, finishes the second part of her North America tour in September.
No further details about the movie, such as its director, are currently available.
If the movie goes ahead, it will not be the first time Britney has tried her hand at acting.
The mother-of-two enjoyed success with her 2002 movie 'Crossroads' and was in negotiations to star as Daisy Duke in 2005's 'The Dukes of Hazzard'. The role eventually went to Britney's pop rival Jessica Simpson.
Last year, she received rave reviews after making two cameo performances in US TV show 'How I Met Your Mother'
